Digg this!

While checking the stats for Exercise Equipment Review I was overjoyed to see that we had our first visitor referred from a Google Search.

We actually had searches for “eliptical exercisers compare”. What is an eliptical exerciser? I know what an elliptical trainer is but this is something totally new to me.

How did this result in the first hit to Exercise Equipment Review? So I try the search in Google. Guess what - Exercise Equipment Review is the #1 result! And then I see it. I have misspelled elliptical on the main page.

The first thing that I did was to correct the spelling mistake. I was not going to let another spider crawl the site with that spelling mistake in place. But then I thought about how many times that I had made the same spelling mistake while I was working on the site.

eliptical is now one of the keywords for Exercise Equipment Review. I won’t use it in the copy of the site but it will be listed in the meta tags.

Just a note for you Druapl users... Bill was able to specify the keywords in the meta tags on this site because we have the "Node (key)words" module installed - a.k.a. "nodewords". It is pretty straightforward to use.
